Le Saline beach is only 2 km from the village of Stintino. Made up of small white pebbles, it’s possible to kitesurf from October to May. The spot works well with onshore Northeast and East wind, at times gusting over 30 knots. The beach is long but narrow, and the onshore wind and big waves from the same direction make it difficult to make it off the beach. It’s a challenging spot, so asking advice of local riders is strongly recommended to avoid getting into unpleasant situations.  During the period from May to October, the beach is extremely crowded, there’s no launch area and it’s strictly prohibited to kitesurf.
